Excercise 7
The author that I think has a stronger argument is Professor De Jong, and he presented actual statements. He shows you the experiences that have happened in the past when the drinking age law was changed to the age of eighteen. In the 1970s the death toll mounted when the drinking age was lowered. Also, there is a middle ground on this issue of lowering the drinking age. People can like some different topics each author makes so you cannot have what side you would like. The ideas that you can offer that were not covered in either article are that teens will always find a way to drink if you like it or not. Some teens are responsible enough to drink, and not do anything crazy or get into any kind of trouble.

5 Questions On Blog
The similarities about Obama and Romney were that they both were positive about the situation. They both thanked each other. They were different about their reaction toward the crowds. Romney seemed sad compared to Obama, he seemed more determined toward their crowd. I’m not a fan of either but I think Obama was the more successful speaker he seemed more comfortable while speaking. The moment from each speech stood out to me was when Obama congratulated him that showed that he is a strong person for doing that even though he lost the election. This is the first speech that I've seen by these men. My initial reaction is that they both were very emotional while speaking. No I was not politically involved in this election. I did not get involved because I was not a fan of either Obama or Romney. In the future I plan to vote if one of the candidates get my attention and give good reasons to vote for them.

A show that is a bad influence
In this article of teen mom it shows why "Teen Mom" is a bad influence on teenagers. The teens that use to be on the show even claims that on this article. This topic would be a good class discussion because it shows how people priorities are on having babies and watching this television show instead of watching an educational show like discovery channel. Or even pay more attention to school work. I think more teens are trying to have babies now because they see how the people on the show can still live with it. Also, the show pays these teens to show there life story so I think it influences other teens that maybe they could be on the show and have money. For these reasons this topic on teen mom and teen pregnancy would be a debated discussion, how idiotic the show is influencing teens, and why they should stop airing this show.

Behavior of Jerry Sandusky
In Jerry Sandusky interview when they asked him questions he hesitates and is really nervous. In the NBC interview I admit the questions he was getting asked is very embarrassing to answer so I could see why he would get nervous about that, but if you didn’t do anything wrong you would be nervous. He also admits in the interview that he "horseplay’s" with kids. I do not think that older men should do things like that. He also says that he showers with kids after practice horse. That shows me that he is guilty because that is against policy rules to do so. This shows that he really did this stuff to little kids. Not just one, but many people physically saw him doing very harmful things to little kids. He went on trial for 40 counts of sexually assaulting kids. He could have served up to 442 years in prison. The judge found him guilty and sentenced him to 30 years in prison.

Jerry Sandusky
I think Jerry Sandusky made bad decisions of what he did about sexually abusing those children. I think if he had the chance to go back in time and change what he did do he would do. But you cannot change what already happen. So now he faces the maximum up to 442 years in prison. He will probably pass away in jail. I do not think he will get that long of a sentence though. I'm thinking he will receive about 60 years in prison. Now the whole Penn State football program is being punished from this situation. All of the football coaches were fired and most of the administrations were also fired. They all knew about what was going on with Sandusky and the children that's why they are in so much trouble. This scandal will always be talked about and remembered in the Penn State program.

Lesson Learned
A time when I failed my class and report cards were coming out next week I was so scared. I knew that my parents would kill me if I came home with a failing grade even if all of the rest of my grades were a's. So I decided that I should tell them before report cards come out. I walked inside my house nervously; they were sitting on the couch watching television. Then I put my game face on and told them mom and dad I have bad news, I failed my reading course this six weeks. They first told me why, and I told them I guess I haven't been studying enough in the class. Next thing I know, I'm grounded before report cards even come out. I then figured out I would never tell them ahead of time again. Either way I’m still going to be in trouble.
Earliest memory of music and film
My earliest memory of music and a film was the Curious George film I loved the movie when I was a kid. I was introduced to the movie by my mom when I was a kid. When she was busy she just she put the movie on. I would sit there and not move or make a sound when it came on. She knew if she put Curious George on that I would sit there by myself satisfied. The set-up of the movie was just so amazing to me. Also, I loved the music that played throughout the movie it was very smoothing. I have one of the songs from the movie on my computer now. Until this day I still listen to it that song. The music makes you want to just sit there and listen to it all day long. So that is my earliest memory of music and film.

Resond to test 1
The first test we took I thought was very easy. You would have thought it was easy also if you studied and listened in class. Well if you studied and listened in class you would have thought it was easy also. I think I would have made a better grade though if it would have been a multiple choice test. Too bad only some of the questions were multiple choice. Usually when I take multiple test I get a pretty good grade, but I have to try my hardest if it’s not a multiple choice. Next time I’m going to study a lot harder on the review and pay attention in class even more so I can make a really high grade. Hopefully the next test it is a pretty easy test and I can study longer and harder on it. So that I can make my parents proud and also to make myself proud.

Embarrassing Moment
It was one day I went to my friend’s house for his birthday party. The kids were in the backyard in his pool swimming. I jumped in the pool nervously. All of the other kids were swimming having fun in the pool while I was just standing alone in the corner of the pool. I didn’t know how to swim when all of the other kids did. Everyone decided that everyone should race swimming. They told me to join and a kid said "he can't swim hahahahaha" I quickly turned red and lied saying I have to go home it's an emergency. I hurried and rushed inside the house to call my mom to pick me up. Saying it was an emergency. Eventually she arrived I told her let’s just go home. I finally told her why I wanted to come home so early. So from that day forward I was determined to learn how to swim. I signed up for swimming lessons the next day. So from that day forward I will willingly go swimming, because I can swim so well. That was an embarrassing moment that I experienced throughout my years.

Memorable Experience
A time when I had a memorable experience was when, one day my mom was feeling really sick. We didn't know what was wrong I thought maybe it was just a stomach virus and it would be gone in no time. Later that night she was doing just fine, but then when I woke up the next morning my mom's fiancĂ© woke me up saying hurry up and get up when need to take your mom to the emergency room. I jumped up in a panic attack! I didn't know what was wrong. When we all were in the car on the way to the ER I asked and they both said they didn’t know either. My mom was in so much pain you could tell in her face, but she didn’t show it. Eventually we made it to the ER, we explained to the nurse what was happening and she rushed my mom to the back. I was so nervous I didn’t know what would happen. Finally the doctor came to check my mom out to figure what was wrong. He eventually found out that she had kidney stones. He said it’s something you need to worry about but you can still live from it. I was relieved I thought something bad would happen to my mom. That’s when I told myself to cherish every moment you have with someone because you’ll never know when the last time you’ll seem them.

Films
Do you prefer books, films, or music? Why? What are some specific titles or artists/directors/actors that you enjoy?
I prefer films over books or music because it shows you in details how the story went as a movie. A actor that I enjoy Is Adam Sandler I enjoy him In all of his movies because he keeps you interested in the movie by making you laugh throughout the whole film sometimes he can catch your attention by being serious In some movies like a film by him that Is called "50 First Dates". Where he tries to make a woman fall in love with him every day. She suffers from memory lost so it’s very difficult for him to accomplish this. One of my favorite movies by Adam Sandler is "Grown Ups" the movie is about five guys that graduated from the same high school and former teammates reunite with each other and hang out for a weekend after their coach passes away.
